today i said goodbye to my 17 year old "baby cat", noel. i will miss her terribly. i know that i did the right thing by her and that it was time to say the most painful goodbye. she was ready. she slipped away very easily and quickly under gas anesthesia in a matter of seconds. she had not eaten in over three days, so i was quite surprised that she could even stand let alone walk around by herself. she spent the day in the office with me yesterday and was thoroughly amused by that. the definitely enjoyed the rides in the car. she's always loved riding in the car. when we moved from mississippi to wisconsin and from wisconsin to indiana, she rode in the car the whole way, usually perched upon the rear door armrests to watch the scenery pass by. she was like a little puppy in that sense. she took a brief walk in the grass and out in the fresh air both yesterday and this morning. she was happy. that is what i wanted most of all.

i'll miss my little darling.

What a sweet dear face she has...I know the pain of this very very well and I so understand your decision...Even though she is in a better place, as they say, how heartbreaking for you, my dear. I am so very sorry.

I love the blog that you have. I was wondering if you would link my blog to yours and in return I would do the same for your blog. If you want to, my site name is American Legends and the URL is:

If you want to do this just go to my blog and in one of the comments just write your blog name and the URL and I will add it to my site.
