a wet, windy, soggy, cold christmas.
my first christmas in indiana certainly reminds me of home. i haven't begun to miss wisconsin winters yet, but i'm sure i'll wax nostalgic for a white wisconsin christmas when the big day arrives.
i have pretty much all of my shopping done, just didn't get all the presents shipped in time for a christmas delivery. but it IS the thought that counts.
no time for christmas cards either. of course i bought cards, filled them out, wrote personal messages inside, stuffed the envelopes, addressed the envelopes, and promptly lost the christmas cards. yeah, specifically the way i planned it. i put a lot of work into losing those cards! i consider it a success!
i've been sleeping wonderfully of late and more than i normally do (of course normally isn't much). it feels good to be able to breathe and actually relax for a change.
i hope you all have a very, merry, healthy, happy, blessed, and rewarding christmas--even if you don't celebrate christmas, or even believe--i still wish you all that is good and golden.
from my heart to yours.
