enchanted.

i've spent a good deal of time walking around the city (just a small slice of it, mind you) and the more i see, the more i love this place. i realize now why so many people fall in love with this city and what a tough kind of love it really is. new york city is gritty, honest, blatant, and raw. it gives me everything i wish all the people in my life had given me years ago--the honest truth. the city is real. i'm not sure that it gets any "realer" than this.
i am thoroughly enchanted.
